WHAT'S BEHIND THAT BEAUTIFUL DOOR?

Metaphorically, that Beautiful Door could be your imagination, your curiosity, your forgotten goal, or your passionate quest.

I was just checking some email, and I happened to have an email about Alain Picard, an acclaimed pastelist, and he was writing about “Lake Burton Majesty” the largest pastel painting he had ever created. The many things he had to learn, search out, try, seek advice regarding, and then pay for a moving van just to haul the things he needed was amazing. His story showed so much curiosity, so much ingenuity, so much collaborative inquiry, and for sure, so much PERSISTENCE, the first Habit of Mind I wrote about yesterday, It was a timely find for me and so inspiring! If I get permission to share it I will. You will find it amazing (even if art is not your thing) and will recognize the great persistence it required to complete the beautiful artwork!
